PRENATAL
Depending on the birth package you choose, you'll meet with your doula for prenatal visits designed to help you prepare for birth with confidence. Together, we'll explore your birth options, discuss your rights and informed consent, and help you create a personalized ABC Birth Plan that reflects your goals and values.
Throughout your pregnancy, you'll have a sisterhood of doulas to lean on for questions, reassurance, and evidence-based information always with zero judgment. If you need additional support, we're happy to connect you with trusted local professionals, including prenatal massage therapists, chiropractors, pelvic floor physical therapists, childbirth educators, prenatal fitness instructors, lactation consultants, mental health providers, and many other resources in our community.
LABOR & BIRTH
Birth package cont… Depending on your birth plan and your location, your doula will meet you in early labor. She’ll provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support throughout all phases of labor: early labor, active labor, transition, and birth.
Your doula will stay with you up to 2 hours after delivery to assist with the first latch, help you use the bathroom after birth, and more. Then your doula will get you and your partner cozied in bed and you’ll be able to bond with your new sweet babe.
POSTPARTUM
Postpartum is a sleepy and dreamy space. As you recover from birth, you need as much support as possible in those early weeks. We’ll help you honor and protect this sacred space as you and your baby bond, you heal, your milk comes in, and you adjust to your life with a new baby in the family.
Your postpartum doula will protect this time and space just for you, and even support the whole family in the transition.
We offer day and overnight support.
