Hi, I’m Maddie.

My name is Maddie and I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am the mother to my daughter, Taytum and her birth-day was one of the most special days of my life thus far. My vision for birth-work began when I was a little girl, watching birth videos of empowered women in my free time. I had a deep fascination and love with birth-work and knew it was going to be my calling someday. I studied Childhood Development at California State University, Sacramento and now continuing my studies towards a bachelor's in Nursing at Nightingale College. I was educated by Sierra Childbirth Institute and ProDoula, as a birth and postpartum doula.

All childbirth is unique and as we work together we will create your story that will forever be told. It is my honor to watch your confidence soar through pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum with evidence-based education and knowledge that is valuable. I also hold a niche in newborn care, care for twins/multiples, breast-feeing and gentle sleep guidance. I know how hard those long, sleepless and frustrating days can be during postpartum.

As a birth doula, I love offering support through healing hands and comfort measures. I honor the opportunity to build deep, meaningful relationships with our clients and value the opportunity to get to know you on a personal level, providing support and guidance.

Experiencing someone's most significant moment of their lives through my own eyes, truly tugs on my heart strings. Being a doula is a deeply rewarding career, as it allows me to support and empower families during one of the most significant and transformative periods of their lives. I absolutely love what I do.

Thank you for taking the time to read about me and my journey in birth work. I’d be honored to walk with you during your journey, watch you grow and feel empowered.

Get to know me:

Hello and thanks for stopping by!

I'm thrilled to share a little bit more about myself. Supporting families through their own unique journey is not just my job and chosen career- but it's my greatest joy.

When I'm not wearing my doula hat, you can find me spending quality time with my family. My soon to be husband, Mason, and I are head over heels obsessed with our daughter, Taytum—she's the light of our lives. What parent isn’t?

As a family, we love going on adventures to Disneyland, Donner lake and Lake Tahoe, Costco and Target have my heart forever, gardening has become my new favorite escape, and we love spoiling our fur babies, Sadie and Charlie. I’ll never say no to planning a fun and probably over the top party. One more thing; I’m a full time nursing student- aspiring to be in L&D or a NICU nurse someday!

3 Fun facts about me 😍

1. Ice cream is my love language, but you won't catch me eating vanilla! I’d probably choose mint chocolate chip or plain ol’ chocolate.

2. I own a mobile bartending company, Rusty N Rose, and transformed a 1968 Horse Trailer into a luxury bar on wheels for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events etc!  Love me a good craft cocktail!

3. I have a special place in my heart for twins and dream of having my own someday. More the merrier for me!
