Hi, I’m Raashnay.
I’m a birth and postpartum doula with a deep passion for advocacy, education, and making sure every mother feels heard, supported, and empowered. My journey into birth work started from a place of personal experience and a strong desire to help others navigate their own unique path to parenthood.
As a mother myself, I understand the highs, lows, and everything in between when it comes to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I’ve experienced firsthand how important it is to have informed choices, compassionate care, and unwavering support—which is why I dedicate myself to being that person for my clients. Whether you’re preparing for a hospital birth, VBAC, cesarean, twin birth, natural or medicated delivery, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to ensure you feel safe, confident, and in control.
Beyond birth, I specialize in postpartum care, belly binding, nourishing meal preparation, and guiding families through those early days of bonding and healing. I truly believe that postpartum is just as important as birth, and I strive to create an environment where you feel cared for, respected, and fully supported as you transition into this new chapter.
I am also deeply passionate about advocating for Black mothers, supporting single parents, and ensuring that every family, no matter their circumstances, has access to respectful and empowering care. Every mother deserves a doula who truly sees them, listens to them, and fights for them when needed—I am honored to be that for the families I serve.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me in the kitchen (I love cooking!), spending time with my family, or continuing to learn and grow in my practice. Birth work is not just my job—it’s my calling, and I can’t wait to meet you, hear your story, and walk this journey with you.
