My greatest gift is mothering to mother, as I hold & guide you through this transformational time in your life. With over 30 years of experience in physical therapy and prenatal massage I can say my hands will support and comfort you through the surges of labor as you bring your baby earth-side.
Soon after the birth of my first daughter I was in love. Breastfeeding came naturally without any complications; I do understand I'm very fortunate for that. At this time my husband and I were leaders in our church any I had the privilege of attending many many first time mothers before, during and after birth then breastfeeding and newborn care. This was an incredible honor to be able to walk alongside these women. I never heard of a Doula prior to a couple of years ago when my daughter Rebecca, owner of Rebecca Rose Doula Services started her Doula program. It ignited who she really was and has taken off as a Doula, Midwifery Assistant and is currently in the Midwifery program. I am so proud of her and all the amazing experiences that she has been able to have over the years.
I decided to was time to become a Doula and walk the journey to parenthood with more families. It’s truly a dream come true to work along side my daughter. I have an enormous heart for all people. I don’t take this role lightly to be invited into the most sacred spaces. Thank for from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read about me and my journey to birth work.
